i.e. has three areas of focus where our experience can benefit any firm that is renovating or relocating. While we have competition in the various disciplines where we excel, there are no direct competitors who will perform the full range of services that we offer for the smaller sized client.
There are companies who specialize in office relocations, called Relocation Specialists. They are focused on the narrow aspect of moving companies from one office location to another. They will also plan and schedule the move phases for a space that is going to be renovated.
Then there are firms who specialize in Project Management, sometimes called an Owner’s Representative; they do the coordination and management for new office construction. They will also provide relocation assistance, but they do not offer architectural or interior design services. Generally a project management company will work only on the very largest jobs.
Architectural and interior design firms do the other services needed by companies renovating or moving such as; space planning and design, construction documents and site observation. These professionals seldom have full, start to finish, coordinated project management or relocation assistance services.

An important aspect that sets i.e. apart is that we specialize in helping companies that are smaller in size than what our competitors target. Our service is valuable for firms sized between 25 and 250 employees and who do not have a full time facilities manager. We are a great benefit to any company that does not want their staff and executives burdened with the time consuming and distracting tasks that are necessary for a successful office renovation or relocation.
